Jasmine’s First Birthday
Posted by dslinens
This first birthday party is special to us at Designer Specialty Linens because “Mom” is Veronica from our sales team! Veronica styled the Everything’s Coming Up Roses linen in butter for the adorable dessert table. The sweet treats were from Suzy Q Baking. Thank you Studio EMP for capturing these precious moments!

Taste of Jay’s 2014
Posted by dslinens
Jay’s Catering has a tradition of holding tastings for brides-and-grooms-to-be every month, but bringing the event to The Casino San Clemente in partnership with fantastic vendors has raised the bar. “Taste of Jay’s” is unique in that it offers attendees the experience of a wedding reception, and a chance for them to see what Jay’s and the rest of the vendors can bring to their own, personal event.
We provided our Champagne 5th Avenue overlays with an underlay in Blush Shantung, Everything’s Coming Up Roses in Champagne, Champagne 5th Avenue Sequin table runners and Bark Dupionique napkins for the dining tables in the Grand Ballroom. For the dessert station we used our Champagne Blush Linens, Champagne 5th Avenue Runners in addition to our Pintuck linens for the food stations. It was a beautiful event! Chantilly Lace Overlay – Tea Party Theme
Posted by dslinens
Creative partners are what keep our company thriving. We value our relationships with our colleagues in the wedding and event industries. When one of those partners celebrates a life event, and includes us it’s an honor.
Recently our friend Stephanie Uchima, owner and lead designer of Preppy Chic Events celebrated her Bridal Shower with a tea party theme. From the vintage china, to the dessert table, and the specialty paper…it was a feast for the eyes. A combination of linens were used to polish off the look. The guest tables were our Shantung Linen in Blush with a Chantilly Lace Overlay. The dessert table was a Satin Linen in Mint with a Chantilly Lace Overlay. Resulting in a soft, feminine, yet colorful surprise. To compliment the vintage tea theme, our fruit wood chiavari chairs did the trick. Don’t forget those curly willows on the chair for the bride. Fun and flirty…don’t you agree?
What a wonderful way for Stephanie to celebrate her upcoming nuptials. What more could a girl want? How about having this beautiful party being featured in a blog? Well, she got just that. See more of her shower featured on the Inspired By This Blog.
