Rehearsal Dinner Styled Shoot

Cara at Danza Del Sol contacted me to assist her with a great idea she had. Combine an inspiration shoot and a bridal open house to showcase their newest event space at the winery. What a fun idea! The brides get to see and enjoy the set up of our shoot as it is carried through the open house event. Cara wanted to highlight the Tuscan-inspired colors and feel of the new Barrel Room, and once I saw the venue, I was on board. The venue’s rich earthy tones with the creamy sunset through the rolling grape vines was the perfect backdrop for a romantic and earthy tablescape, with crisp whites and fresh greenery. My vision for the shoot and décor for the event was very organic, soft and inviting. Sylvia from Madam Palooza created an elegant lounge vignette in complementing colors complete with a fur wrap for the bride, and I instantly loved the green floral pattern napkins from Designer Specialty Linens and paired it with the lace runner for an unexpected combination of textures. I wanted to continue the earthy elements through the paper, so Paper Villa incorporated a wood grain paper into the invitation suite and darling chair signs I requested in Italian for “bride” and “groom.” Along with the green garland and ribbon strands styled by Soiree Design, it was one of my favorite details of the shoot. To tie in with the organic theme, I placed mini bottles of our locally grown and pressed olive oil from the Temecula Olive Oil Company at each of the place settings. So delish!
